Pope Francis rocked some religious and atheist minds today when he declared that everyone was redeemed through Jesus, including atheists. During his homily at Wednesday Mass in Rome, Francis emphasized the importance of "doing good" as a principle that unites all humanity, and a "culture of encounter" to support peace. Using scripture from the Gospel of Mark, Pope Francis explained...

  • The Market For McNabb

While we've yet to hear anything to substantiate belief that any NFL team is interested in signing QB Donovan McNabb to a deal this offseason, he's been hard at work with QB guru George Whitfield. On Monday, Whitfield posted a series of pictures on his Twitter account showing McNabb going through some drills. (Exhibit A, Exhibit B and no set would be complete without Whitfield's signature broom).

McNabb said during an appearance on ESPN 1000's Waddle & Silvy that "I sort of have some unfinished business. I love the game, I have a passion for the game, and I look forward to continuing that on." The question is whether any NFL team is interested in sponsoring that continuation. Teams for whom McNabb would theoretically be an upgrade at backup QB include the Baltimore Ravens, Buffalo Bills, Green Bay Packers, San Diego Chargers, St. Louis Rams and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. But again, we've yet to see anything confirming that those teams are interested, so this is just speculative at this point.
